Barnett Insurance Agency is a family-owned independent insurance agency serving Oregon and Washington from our office at 3332 N Lombard St, Suite A in North Portland. For more than four decades we have helped individuals, families, and local businesses find the right coverage at competitive rates, without the call-center runaround.
We are independent agents. That means we work for you, not for one insurance company. We shop many companies to find the coverage and the price that fit your life.

A captive agent can only sell you what their one company offers. When that company raises rates or tightens underwriting, their answer is still the same policy at the new price.
We are not in that position. If a carrier stops making sense for you, we move you. That is the whole reason the independent model exists, and it is why clients stay with us for decades.

Meet Lisa Presley and Keith Barnett. We are a Black family owned independent agency, and we have served Portland since 1980. We know the area, we answer the phone, and we take time to get your coverage right.
Lisa Presley
Lisa has years of hands on experience and she really looks after people. She explains things clearly, checks your policy line by line, and spots gaps before they turn into a problem.
Keith Barnett
Keith carries on the family business. He gives straight advice and gets you a quote fast, often the same day. If your case is tricky, he is the one who digs in and sorts it out.
